3 Ideas for my FMP
As our Final major project is fast
approaching I am starting to come up with ideas. As I would like to go in to the Medical
Photography direction I feel I should be bulking out my portfolio with these
types of images.
1 - MEDICAL PHOTOGRAPHY VS EVERY DAY
PHOTOGRAPHY.
Why we need the qualifications and
professionalism they use in the hospital.
Rather than using the patients own images. The ethics behind legal
photography.
2 HOSPITAL LEAFLET. –
Another idea was to produce a hospital
leaflet with a range of images the clinical photography team do on a daily
basis. Like the grounds of the hospital,
some arty images of equipment’s like scalpels scissors? And some studio images.
3 CLOSE CROP ABSTRACT BODY PARTS –
I am also going to research in to the
evolution of medical photography. Looking at the work of John Coplan. I think the idea of body parts in close crops
is very interesting as it turns to a surreal image that isn’t easily recognised
or identified.
Hopefully I will be back in the hospital in a few weeks for more ideas and help.
