For my Contemporary Practice Essay I am going to
choose Medical/Clinical Photography as my starting point as it links to my
specialist interest. I am going to
research into the background and have set my self a question below to explore
and expand on.

I am go to explore and evaluate the historical
context of medical photography and identify key events. I am going to include critical analysis of
historic and contemporary photographers in this field and maybe try and visit a
medical museum. I will include the ethics of the Victorian age and in today’s
